In mosques, the (Minbar/ Mimbar) is especially significant as the elevated platform used by the imam to deliver the khutbah (Friday sermon). Similarly, in other religious traditions, it serves as a focal point for delivering important messages or teachings.

Religious leaders deliver sermons, speeches, or teachings to an audience. It symbolizes a place of authority or guidance in religious and moral matters.

In Islamic context, it is often referred to as the platform in a Mosque from which the Imam gives the khitaab (sermon).
